These terms and conditions of use (these “Terms and Conditions”) for https://www.corporatelawexpress.ca (the “Website”), constitute a legal agreement and are entered into by and between you and Corporate Law Express (the “Company“, “we,” “us,” “our”) and govern your access to and use of the Website, and also govern your engagement of Corporate Law Express with respect to any legal advice we provide you (including the preparation of legal documents).
By using this Website, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If you are not, you must not access or use the Website.
Scope of Engagement
All legal advice is provided by Corporate Law Express. The scope of your engagement with Corporate Law Express through the use of this Website (including any legal advice and work product provided in connection with a request made through the Website) is limited to the preparation of those specific documents requested. It does not include any other transactions, arrangements or projects that may arise out of such documents. After your purchase is complete and the applicable document or agreement is provided, Corporate Law Express has no further obligation to advise you. As such, if there are any later legal developments that may impact your future rights and liabilities, including changes in the applicable laws or regulations, you will have to engage us separately to advise on such developments.
We will do our best to advise you efficiently. The outcome of any matter is subject to inherent risks and other factors beyond our control. All documents and agreements are generated based on the information provided by you. We assume all such information is correct and valid. We will not make any independent investigations into the information you provide. Therefore, we have not made, and cannot make, any guarantees or promises concerning the outcome of your engagement.
All services provided through the Website are charged at the fixed fee applicable to any specific purchase and noted on the Website (such fees may change from time to time). Once your purchase is completed and delivered to you, you will receive an invoice.
None of the documents or agreements prepared by us based on the information you provide through the Website will name any opposing parties. You will be responsible to complete the names of opposing parties and will be responsible to determine the fitness of any such agreement for the particular purpose.
Confidentiality and Solicitor-Client Privilege
Information we receive from you, including information submitted to us through the Website, is confidential and subject to solicitor-client privilege.
